The Baltimore Chop iPhone App is Here
If you’ve been watching closely recently, you’ve probably noticed that we’ve changed things up a bit around here. We added an image of Wee Willie Keeler’s T-206 tobacco card to the header, and adopted it everywhere we are online… Twitter, Facebook, etc.
But what we kept up our sleeve was that we weren’t really looking for a new logo for its own sake- we did it because we needed an icon for our brand new iPhone app.
Yes Choppers, it’s here. No more fumbling with Google. No more typing the name into Safari. No more squeezing the screen to get the site to fit. No more images that are way too big for mobile use. Just download the Chop app for free and keep the Chop at hand. Launch with a click and read with ease.
It’s live on the App Store right now for iPhone and iPad, so go download it and take it for a test drive why don’t you? Go ahead. We’ll wait here….

You Android users aren’t totally out of luck either. We’ve been experimenting quite a bit around here and think we’ve finally found the best mobile plugin for WordPress, so you can go ahead and bookmark us now to hold you over until we get the app onto Google Play (which may be pretty soon, or may take a while).
Finally, while we’re dropping big site news we want to take this opportunity to direct your attention to our Tumblr. We’re starting to really get the hang of Tumblr, and from now on we’re going to be putting some stuff there that you won’t find anywhere else, namely Instagram shots, articles and reactions from other sources, and mini-rants that don’t quite make for a full post here.
